Download all attachments from Gmail
To download all attachments from Gmail, you normally have to open each message and save every file one at a time. Gmail has no button that collects every attachment from a mailbox or label. Mail Senses gives you a single ZIP download after you choose the Gmail folders and dates that matter.
Download Gmail attachmentsHow it works
- Start with Gmail when you only need a small set of files. Search for has:attachment to find messages with files. Add filename:pdf for PDFs or larger:5M for messages with bigger attachments. Open a message, then use its download button for each file you want to save.
- Use Google Takeout when you need a long-term export of a whole Gmail account. It is useful for an archive, but it creates a broad mailbox export and can take time to prepare. It is less convenient when you only need the attachments from a label or date range.
- Use Mail Senses when you want a focused attachment download. Connect your Gmail account and approve read-only access. Read-only access lets the tool find and download files, but it cannot send, delete, or edit your email.
- Choose the inbox or Gmail labels to search, then set a start and end date. A narrower date range is useful for a large mailbox. For a manual file-type search in Gmail, use an operator such as filename:pdf before downloading individual files.
- Review the results and download the free ZIP file. It collects the matching attachments in one download, so you do not need to save each Gmail message separately. Files prepared for a session are automatically deleted after 10 minutes.

- There is no separate Mail Senses attachment count limit. For a large mailbox, use a label or split the work into smaller date ranges so the search and ZIP stay manageable.
- Is it safe to connect Gmail to Mail Senses?
- Mail Senses asks for read-only Gmail access. It cannot send, change, or delete email. Downloaded files are automatically deleted after 10 minutes.
